Refund Policy

At Places, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our users. However, due to the digital nature of our service, we have a strict refund policy to ensure fair usage and sustainability.

1. General Refund Policy

All payments made for Places subscriptions (Monthly or Yearly) are non-refundable. This includes both partial and full months/years of service. Once a payment is processed, we cannot offer cash refunds, credits, or exchanges.

2. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Dashboard at Settings > Subscription.

  • Effect of Cancellation: Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Access: You will retain access to all Pro features until your paid term expires.
  • No Pro-rata Refunds: We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused time.

3. Exceptions

We may consider offering a refund only in the following specific circumstances:

  • Technical Errors: If a technical error on our end resulted in a duplicate charge or an incorrect billing amount.
  • Fraud: If we verify that a transaction was made fraudulently by an unauthorized third party, subject to our investigation and payment processor guidelines.

All refund requests under these exceptions must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

4. Trial Periods

If you subscribed during a free trial period, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Charges incurred after a free trial has converted to a paid subscription are non-refundable.
